Dubrovnik, located in the south of Croatia, resembels on the most important historical and tourist Croatian destinations. In 1979 it became a part of UNESCO world heritage. The Dubrovnik Republic, the city - state on the east part of the Adriatic, was the only fortress that could confront the Republic of Venice in the Middle Ages.
